YOGA & FITNESS

FLOW is a "warm" studio. All classes are heated to 24 degrees with slight fluctuations depending on the intensity of class and breath. If a class is going to be HOT (heated to 30 degrees or more), it will be marked clearly on the schedule next to the class name.


 

Studio is open 15 minutes prior to class start time.
Please arrive early.

 

Bring with you a mat (if you don't have one, we rent for $1)
sweat towel, water, and open mind. 


 

Listen to your body!
If you feel like you need to rest,
child's pose or savasana until you feel ready to return to practice.

in your workouts. Join us 3-4 times a week and you'll see changes in:

Yoga, for me, is all about having fun and focusing on self. I first started a dedicated yoga practice in 2012 when I needed a change from the weight room. Years of lifting heavy weights and lengthy cardio sessions had my body seeking a different type of workout. I loved the athleticism and playfulness of yoga and once I added in the element of heat, I was hooked!

 

It didn't take long after starting a more dedicated practice to notice the change in my body and
in my mind. I started to release stress,
tension, and feel invigorated.

 

I'm an E-RYT-500 (experienced registered yoga teacher), completing my 200 hour training in 2014 and. In early 2017, I completed my advanced 300 hour training (Fit Flow Fly) with the team from Bryce Yoga. 

 

I am constantly building on my knowledge base, receiving my level 1 BUTI certification, mat pilates certification, foam rolling certification, healing yin training, and my favourite past time, watching fitness videos online.

 

Aside from the yoga, I have a degree in Kinesiology and played collegiate golf which gave me a strong understanding of the human body and mental focus. I am blessed to have the opportunity to share my journey with the community of Mission and I look forward to seeing you in class!
